Andalusia is the second largest and most populated of the 17 regions of Spain. Almeria, Seville, and Granada are three of the community of Andalusia's 8 provinces. Andalusia is home to the Gorafe (Granada) and Tabernas (Almeria) deserts. The Tabernas is Europe's largest only true desert, and Spain's Wild West. Home to Lawrence of Arabia and Clint's spaghetti westerns, it has badlands, plateaus, and arroyos.
Granada is inland and NW of Almeria. Seville is also inland and significantly further west. (i.e., Andalusia starts taking us farther from the Valencia/Alicante/Murcia hub.)
